Spiritual intervention needed to end Boko Haram, other insurgency ―Buratai

Buratai appealed to spiritual leaders and religious organisations to collaborate with the military to win the battle. he also reached out to local grassroots.

In a reaction to the terrorism state of Nigeria, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt. General Tukur Buratai calls for the need of spiritual intervention as a combo with the present efforts of the military to end the insurgency.

This statement came as a result of Buratai’s observation that the terrorists are inspired by certain ideologies; therefore the need for a spiritual intervention to alter their mindsets. 

Buratai’s spoke at a seminar organised by the Nigerian Army.
