So we were on vacation and then I get a call from a course mate saying, “Hello please I’d like to be your roommate when we resume… me and my sister.. we will split the bills” and I’m like, “No problem”. So I resumed earlier, paid the full rent

Apparently the girl came back and raised an alarm that her clothes were missing and she was not gonna calm down. For those who know Moremi hall, it’s the biggest female hostel in OAU. The girls and some sympathizers said they were ready to search all the rooms in that hostel that
Day. It was strange and didn’t make sense. They started from 001, 002 then 003. My hallowed room. They got to the 3rd wardrobe and asked for it to be opened. Madam said the owner travelled and went with the key. My other roommate said it was a lie and that the key was there.
They opened the wardrobe and these girls wet clothes rolled on the floor. My goodness! Why did I miss all of these sweet drama? Of all days it was the day I longed to see the most and I was absent.
She was beater and paraded. All her belongings were taken to SU Building.
My roommates and I were asked to search her things and some missing items from first semester were recovered.
We got back to the room and searched under the bunk and saw other missing items this girl had stolen and tied in nylons. My gas burner, crop top, shoes etc were
Recovered. We were traumatized for real cos the girl was into juju of some sort. She brags abt it.
In OAU, if a thief is caught, it is assumed everything you have is stolen. Those things will be paraded and displayed for the rightful owners to lay claim with proof of ownership.
