American-born Nigerian singer, David Adedeji Adeleke (stage name: Davido) on Thursday took to his Twitter to announce the release of the video and new song titled “FEM”.
Some Nigerian music lovers and adept followers of the entertainment industry happenings alleged that “FEM”, a Yoruba word which translates “Shut Up” is a diss at Burna Boy.
Announcing the release of the video, Davido posted; “To the people talking about you because they don’t understand your shine, dey don’t understand your grace, dey don’t understand why they can never be what you are or have what you have..we say #FEM! OUT NOW!”

In a follow-up post after the video and the slang FEM began trending on Twitter, the DMW Record Label boss again posted;
