Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide had described the recent insinuations and Reports that Igbos were behind the destruction of Some Properties of APC National Leader, Sen. Bola Tinubu in Lagos, as fake news and imaginations of fifth Columnists aimed towards deceiving the Public and put Igbo Lives and properties in danger in Lagos State and Southwest.
OYC Condemned Vehemently in strong Words, the Shooting of Unarmed Endsars Protesters at Lekki Toll Gate..and Urge President Muhammadu Buhari to address the Nation immediately without further delay.
We insist that Biafra Agitators should remain non-violent groups, there’s no need for bogus and fictitious Claims, we are amazed over the rhetoric of Some Leaders of Biafra Agitators claiming to have initiated the Destruction of Some Properties in Lagos.
We are aware that Biafra agitators were not part of the protests because there was no Biafran or Israeli flags displayed amongst the Endsars Protesters with Nigerian Flags, this is Purely a pan Nigerian Youth Movement, except that those claiming that their boys were among those protestants now believes In One Nigeria and had abandoned Biafra Struggle.
OYC will resist attempts to drag Igbos into any mess that will jeopardise our collective existence and survival as a people and relationship with Yorubas, let it be crystal clear to all, there were Igbo casualties and victims amongst Lekki massacre and we mourn with all the families that lost their beloved ones in Lekki Massacre and in Endsars Protests across the Country.
We call for peace to return in the Southeast Zone. And Urge Southeast Governors should interface with angry Youths.
