Trump Not Your Business, SARS Killing Youths, Face Your Country ― Wizkid Blasts Buhari

Nigerian artiste, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun (Stage name: Wizkid) on Sunday blasted the Nigerian President for ignoring the challenges faced by youths.

President Muhammadu Buhari had on Friday joined other world leaders in wishing the US President, Donald Trump, a quick recovery from his coronavirus (COVID-19) infection.

Wizkid (sometimes called Starboy by fans) however in his retweet of the President’s tweet with “retweet comment” said; “Donald Trump is not your business! Old man! Police/Sarz still killing Nigerian youth on a daily! Do something! Nothing concern u for America! Face your country!!”

In 2019, Wizkid was seen in a viral video calling the Nigerian President “thief”. In the video, while dancing to Naira Marley’s song “Soapy”, the musician considered drunk by many said; “Ole Ni Buhari”, meaning, “Buhari is a Thief”

Buhari in 2017 congratulated Wixkid and Davido after they won numerous awards in different categories of the international award, Music of Black Origin awards. He advised them not to be distracted.

The Ojuelegba singer was born on 16 July 1990, in Surulere, Lagos. Wizkid was involved in the writing and production of Drake’s “One Dance”
